How the MetaShield Engine works
MetaShield is designed as an operating engine for website protection, not a traditional maintenance retainer. It scans monitored assets, prepares supported remediation workflows, captures snapshots before change, verifies outcomes, and records evidence.
Scan
Continuous monitoring watches uptime, headers, platform signals, integrations, and health checks so risks are found early.
Fix
For supported sites and issue types, a remediation can be prepared, approved, executed through a connected agent, and verified.
Rollback
Before change, MetaShield captures a snapshot and stores remediation evidence so failed updates can be rolled back where enabled.
Built for the gap between finding a problem and fixing it safely
I am building MetaShield as a pre-incorporation UK venture for businesses that rely on their websites but do not have in-house security or engineering teams.
The problem
Website owners are often left with alerts they cannot interpret and reactive support bills they cannot predict. Building a site and protecting it are usually separate services.
The approach
MetaShield connects detection, pre-change snapshots, controlled remediation, verification, and rollback evidence in one workflow instead of treating each step as a disconnected task.
Why I built it
I built MetaShield from the ground up, drawing on hands-on experience in systems integration, e-commerce engineering, Shopify development, and website security.
My path to MetaShield
My interest in how digital systems work began early and developed into a career building the systems behind e-commerce businesses. I moved from integrations to full Shopify and e-commerce development, then toward the security of the systems behind those sites. That work revealed a recurring operational gap: non-technical owners can launch a website, but often have no affordable, controlled way to keep it protected. I am building MetaShield to close that gap with a product-led service model that can grow from individual sites to multi-site portfolios.
